The hotel staff at the Nent Hall Country House were excellent at their jobs. Couldnt be friendlier, excellent service, nothing could be faulted. They go the extra mile, e.g. we were given a free upgrade to a fantastic room as it was not booked and we were a late arrival.
We will definitely go again and would recommend it to anyone.
It is a good stop for anyone staying in the area to use the nearby Weardale Ski Slope as we did.

We had a fantastic time, although the hotel was very quiet there was always staff around to help, service, room and food were all top class

Friendly staff. Comfortable rooms. Nice and warm when we got there - since it was snowing that was important! Excellent overall stay. Went for a weekend away with my girlfriend, will seriously consider it again.

Room suprisingly quite small.
Bathroom could do with a thorough cleaning or refurb otherwise OK.
Ideal location for getting away from it all.
