    Basic hotel appears a bit shabby from the outside but clean and functional inside. Friendly helpfull staff. Breakfast was really good. Ideal as a base for visiting Gibralter, but a bit longer a walk than was stated.

    Customer Service at the hotel was good although we did not have to use it other than booking in and checking out.
    The hotel was clean - apart from windows that were worst the wear from the sea as was some of the external paintwork of the hotel.
    Quality of the room was average - the furniture was basic but in very good condition - but some of the repairs looked like they were carried out by an 'odd job man' ie. screw holes in wrong places etc although there were no dripping pipes, naked wires or anything that contrevened health and safety standards (more importantly the beds were clean and comfortable)

    Breakfast was very good a range of cerals , breads, juices, meats, jams etc Although the coffee was very strong and sweet, and there were no tea and coffee making facilities in the rooms.
    Overall the hotel at approximately £15 pp per night including breakfast was excellent value for money.
