Sadly, I was disappointed with the hotel. We had a deluxe room with a four poster bed, which full price is £220 or so. This in my view is way over priced, and I would have been heart broken if I'd paid this. That said, the room was a good size, the bathroom a good size and a beautiful view over the garden.
I must say though the staff were excellent; very helpful, polite, professional, and friendly.

Hotel was comfortable and clean with excellent restaurant. Gardens looked good but weather was quite bad so didn't go out and explore.
Large superior room, but some of the finishing was poor, masking tape on bath and throws over stained and damaged sofas.
Would come again to eat but probably not to stay

My wife has a dairy alergy so we found the dinner menu was limited but the chef was very happy to cook without butter, cream or cheese in the dish if she could although I did think the main menu was very limited to 6 or 7 dishes.
The staff were wonderful and helped where ever they could and made you feel very comfortable in their company.
The hotel is set in a wonderful gardens so it was very easy to loose yourself and forget the rush and tear of to days society.
Thank you again to Stanton Manor.
