The Heathercliffe is one of Cheshire’s finest Victorian Country Houses set amidst its own private ten acre estate of park and woodland where the character of the traditional country house has been combined with the finest cuisine and luxurious accommodation, providing a unique environment in which to relax.
The Hotel has recently been the subject of a total refurbishment with bedrooms and bathrooms upgraded to the highest standard and all public rooms and lounges completely redecorated and refurnished creating a fusion of Victorian elegance with contemporary sophistication creating one of Cheshire’s most luxurious hotels.
Formerly the home of the American Millionaire John Paul Getty 1st and the Queen of Yugoslavia, it has been the haunt of the rich and famous with a long list of celebrity visitors portrayed on the walls in and around the hotel.

Lovely country hotel. Within easy reach of M56. Room was warm, comfortable, spacious, nice bathroom facilities. Free wi-fi was a bonus. Staff friendly & helpful. Highly recommended.

Small, personal, like a home from home. Immaculate and spotless, full of history and fascinating memorabilia. Staff attitude and care as good as anywhere. Lady with apron who took my breakfast order and chatted turned out to be the owner.....genteel, dignified, lovely lady. Tasty breakfast, lovely quiet surroundings, imposing view. Did not know hotels like this still existed but very glad that they do. Stayed on after checkout to write work report in the public area.

One of the best one night stops I have had in a long while. Food was excellent, and the hotel and grounds were superb.
I went in the winter and I should imagine in the summer it would be fantastic.
I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone, business or otherwise, as it was not too expensive and much better than plenty of the more expensive hotels that I have stayed in.
