32 PENTIRE CRESCENT, NEWQUAY

A ten minute walk or two minute drive from the main town and in close proximity to all of Newquay's well known beaches. We are a family run Hotel specialising in leisure breaks for families and couples. We have a restaurant, bar, lounge and leisure facilities which include indoor and outdoor heated swimming pools & a 4 lane American Ten Pin Bowling Alley. Due to our excellent location we can boast superb views over the Gannel Estuary towards Crantock Beach. We also offer golf packages. Pets welcome at £8.00 per night (maximum 1 per room).

From the M5 at Exeter follow the A30 past Okehampton, Launceston and Bodmin. Continue on the new section of the A30 until you see the sign for Newquay. Once into Newquay, follow signs for Pentire Hotels and Guest Houses. We are located in Pentire Crescent, follow the brown Tourism signs for California Bowl and they will lead you straight to us.

room was adequate, nice lounge, reception dining area. We had an evening meal one night and the dining room was very cold and the food was poor.

Quite a small room and very poor fitting windows in as much as the window was closed but the curtains actualy were blowing in the wind! Seemed to be more of a Holiday type hotel rather than business.

Only ate breakfast in the hotel so could not comment on evening meal. The hotel was ideally situated between 2 beaches so ideal for surfing. Also not too far to walk into town.

The hotel was easy to get to as it is only a five minute journey by taxi. The staff in the hotel were very welcoming and the hotel is decorated to a very nice standard. I stayed there towards the end of the season so the hotel had a visual feel like that hotel in the movie 'The Shining' (thats were the comparison ends!!) The rooms are decorated to a high enough standard with clean sheets and the hotel is peaceful. The views alone are reason enough for staying in this hotel. It was a fantastic stay I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to stay in Newquay and I will definetly stay there again.
