room was adequate, nice lounge, reception dining area. We had an evening meal one night and the dining room was very cold and the food was poor. |

Quite a small room and very poor fitting windows in as much as the window was closed but the curtains actualy were blowing in the wind! Seemed to be more of a Holiday type hotel rather than business. |

Only ate breakfast in the hotel so could not comment on evening meal. The hotel was ideally situated between 2 beaches so ideal for surfing. Also not too far to walk into town. |

The hotel was easy to get to as it is only a five minute journey by taxi. The staff in the hotel were very welcoming and the hotel is decorated to a very nice standard. I stayed there towards the end of the season so the hotel had a visual feel like that hotel in the movie 'The Shining' (thats were the comparison ends!!) The rooms are decorated to a high enough standard with clean sheets and the hotel is peaceful. The views alone are reason enough for staying in this hotel. It was a fantastic stay I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to stay in Newquay and I will definetly stay there again. |
