All round good, nice clean room, sat TV and stunningly good breakfast served in the room.
Only small negative was a heaterless bathroom.....
...would stay again to allow me to sample the food and beer, this was effectively a sleep-over.
Location is good a few mins easy walk from Kings Cross/St Pancras

This bar with rooms is a fantastic find in Central London. Great value for money and located a short walk from rail and tube stations.
Rooms may be a bit basic for some, but are clean and comfortable (if you want more from a bedroom, pay an extra £100 to stay elsewhere, but miss out on the great, inclusive breakfast!).
Food in bar was excellent, both in terms of quality and value.
If you intend sitting in your room, you may find it a bit noisy ( you are staying above a busy bar!). Much better idea to go downstairs to enjoy a meal and a nice bottle of wine!
As I said before, this is a great find and I will be staying again when in London.

An excellent place to stay mid week. Convenient for transport ,central and quiet! We can not comment about weekend when pub might have been busier. Non obtrusive friendly service excellent. Room very clean and comfortable. ( Minor points which were not worth mentioning at time but might help overall impression - curtains too tight therefore difficult to make meet; kettle only worked if finger kept on switch; bathroom without heating rather chilly!)
We would certainly use the hotel aagain and have already recommended it to others.
