Very helpful and well-informed staff. We only used the restaurant for breakfast, which was very good.

We arrived on an exceptionally cold day, and the open fire in the was really inviting. We decided that although the evening menu appears slightly expensive, the food, especially the steak, was exceptionally good.

The hotel is lovely and in a lovely position but the size of the rooms let it down! A real shame as the staff were great and the ambience good I would imagine the main rooms are fine however so use one of them!

Staff were wonderful.
Rooms (Standard) were tired 80's chintz, sadly Travel Lodge has much more class. Hugely expensive for quality. Bathroom fittings etc poor although shower had amazing pressure. Food was good quantity but a bit greasy. Ate at East End Arms on the second night, although same company, food was stunning if pricey. OTHERWISE a stunning location, beautiful environment. Exbury Gardens deffinately worth a visit.

Beautiful hotel setting with excellent food and service, The room was comfortable but a little dusty! The bathroom looked clean but a small detail like 'not flushing the soiled toilet' was a bit of a let down and made me wonder what else had been missed?? I would hope this was an unusaul oversite and i would visit the hotel again..
