From London take M11 exit at Juntion 7 following sighs on the A414 to Harlow first, then Bishops Storford (straight over 4 rounabouts). At the 5th roundabout take the A1184 to Sawbridgeworth and travel north. Turn left at the sign for High Wych. Once in the village turn right at the Half Moon Pub which is on the left hand bend. The entrance to the estate can be seen 200 yards on the left hand side

was very disappointed with the waitress service at our table. we had only sat down at the beginning of the evening and 2 people in our group had a glass of champagned dropped all over them. the waitress was very slow to respond and we had to keep asking for napkins to dry our selves with. we were not even offered a free drink or the cost of the dry cleaning!
also when we went down for breakfast there were no tables available to sit at and were told we could go and eat our breakfast in reception on one of the sofas!

Rooms a bit tired-looking and spa lacked that "special" feel. Otherwise good value - you'd be hard pushed to find another 4* hotel this close to Stansted for £100.

Reception staff very friendly, the duty manager went out of his way to source me another room when I found that the broadband connection wasnt working. Breakfast was good. Recommended.
