Take junction 36 of M6 north bound (Barrow/Kendal). Take A591 to Kendal then onto Windermere(8 miles).At Windermere Village turn onto one way system. Travel through village on the Lake Rd to Bowness and the Lake.After 1/2 mile take 1st left Thornbarrow Rd -after pedestrian crossing. Thornbank House is blue sign on left.

What a lovely place, B & B excellent quality, food great, rooms really nice, although a little cold, and the hospitality extended from Mark and Jane was second to none. Would definately use this accomodation again. |
