Situated on the Rothiemurchus Highland Estate lying between the high tops of the Cairngorms and the River Spey, and within the Cairngorms National Park, it is ideally positioned to take full advantage of the abundance of visitor attractions and sporting facilities which are to be found right here on its doorstep.

We stayed here in August 2008 and was very pleased with the accommodation. It was set in a brilliant location and we could watch wildlife including deer, red squirrels and pheasants from our bed in the morning running around on the front lawn and to the wooded area to the side of the property. The owners, Carol and Robert were very friendly and nothing was to much trouble. It was great to be able to go back in the evening and have a drink in the lounge before retiring to bed. We would highly recommend Carrour House and will be definitely going back ourselves.

Lovely hotel set in stunning scenery. It's only a short walk into the centre of Aviemore so very convenient for the train station, pubs and restaurants etc.
Friendly run hotel and staff are very forth coming with local info if asked. Rooms comfortable and well kept. Highly recommended.

We stayed at the Corrour House Hotel for only the one night - but wished we could have stayed longer! Our welcome was warmth personified. On arrival we were given a guided tour of the hotel's public rooms and were immediately impressed.
The location was tranquil - and easy to find - with pheasants strolling on the lawn. The view south, to Braeriach and the Lairig Ghru was most impressive in the autumn sunshine.
Our breakfast on the Sunday morning was excellent. Would highly recommend this hotel and its setting!

Fabulous view from our room. Very relaxing private peaceful atmosphere. Our dog was made very welcome which for us is important as she is part of the family. Carol and Robert were really nice. Would definately go back soon.
