This Georgian Country House set in beautiful parkland, offers some of the best accommodation in the UK and is conveniently situated halfway between Doncaster and Bawtry, and next to Robin Hood Airport. Since 1938, generations of visitors to Doncaster have enjoyed the unique country style and character of Mount Pleasant. Centrally located to the A1, M1, M18 and M62 the Hotel is set in 100 acres of wooded parkland is ideally situated for shopping breaks to Meadowhall, Lincoln and Leeds.For those of you with a taste for travel we are also only half a mile from the new Robin Hood Airport. Offering elegant oversized accommodation with many bedrooms having seated lounge areas and features such as Mud beds, Sled beds, a Five-Poster bed, several Four-Poster beds, Brass beds, the list is endless. Add to this the cosy lounges, Captain's Bar and AA Rosette Garden Restaurant and guests are guaranteed a perfect stay.
All bedrooms are spacious, tastefully decorated and furnished to the highest specification, with guests comfort in mind. Some have Queen Size beds, and some even have King Size beds, many will convert into twin single beds. En-suite bathrooms, tea and coffee making facilities, a desk or dressing table, hairdryer, wardrobe, trouser press, iron and ironing board, and comfortable chair are all as standard in every room. Each room also has free wireless broadband and satellite television.
The award winning Garden Restaurant has been designed for maximum comfort and relaxation. Elegant, understated and welcoming, it enjoys an unrivalled position, overlooking the established gardens at the rear of the building. Offering menus that change seasonally, the food is prepared with local ingredients, delivered daily to retain their freshness. The restaurant is built to blend in with the rest of the house, with mullioned windows, sylvan tapestries and the most exquisite chandeliers from Crete. Well spaced tables and attentive yet not intrusive service all make for the perfect atmosphere.
