Superb hotel - quality of the rooms is great (though a shame no digital TV), nice large rooms, big bathroom. Food is excellent and breakfast is as good. |

We stayed in the Tywi Room which was above/adjacent to some form of boiler which was operating all through the night. If you are alloctaed this room ask to be moved immediately as the noise detracted from our stay. The hotel itself is in a beautiful location and the general standard of the public rooms was very good. |

This is an excellent spa hotel in a beautiful spot just south of Brecon. We were upgraded to a lovely large period room with an excellent bathroom. The restaurant was excellent as was the service from the friendly staff. The terraces have recently been upgraded and the gardens are under improvement. I only stayed one night to break a journey south from Holyhead but I would consider going back for a weekend break. |
