Paid the Lateroom rate of £140 (reduced from £190) and was pretty disappointed. The hotel looks great from the outside but the rooms were not up to scratch. A tired bathroom from the 70's/80's, no fridge and then small things that are just annoying like a bedside light which did not work and no biscuits or fresh milk. |

Lovely walks within spectacular grounds. Accomodation and food of a very high standard, but tables disconcertingly close together in the dining room. Would certainly recommend this hotel for a relaxing break/special occasion. |

Had a wonderful night at this hotel. Staff very helpful and friendly. Sitting areas very impressive especially the drawing room with its large open fire. Would highly recommend this hotel for a romantic break. |
