The Ormond At Tetbury is at the heart of Tetbury, perfectly situated for touring the Cotswolds and Westonbirt Arboretum. We offer great style, fantastic award-winning food, a relaxed atmosphere, friendly and professional service and great value for money.
Our historic coaching inn has 15 ensuite bedrooms, including a luxurious four poster room and several family rooms. We have free wifi throughout and the bar is stocked with newspapers and magazines making it the perfect venue for a delicious illy coffee, Cotswold cream tea, local ale or game of backgammon.
The restaurant has recently won two awards, most notably from the Cotswold Food & Drink Awards 2008, with gutsy modern British food which uses local produce and has a daily changing menu.

Directions to The Ormond At Tetbury

From the M4 Exit the M4 at Junction 17 and take the A429 toward Cirencester. Follow the A429 through the village of Corston to Malmesbury.At Malmesbury go straight over the roundabout to take the Malmesbury bypass. When you reach the end of the bypass go straight over the roundabout toward Cirencester.Take the left turn after the BP petrol station on your right hand side(B4014)signposted to Tetbury. When you arrive in Tetbury go straight over the mini roundabout into Long Street, The Ormonds Head Hotel is approximatly 50 yards on your right hand side.From the M5Exit the M5 at Junction 11A and follow the A417 toward Cirencester.When you reach Cirencester follow the signs around the bypass for the A429, signposted to Tetbury. Continue along the A429 until you enter Tetbury. You will pass a tesco store on your left hand side,continue for about 500 yards and bear left into Long street. The Ormonds Head Hotel is about 200 yards on your left hand side.

Thank-you so much for our wonderful stay here in a beautiful village in The Cotswolds. The hotel is perfectly located right in the centre of Tetbury and although there is no parking at the hotel there is a carpark very close by. We arrived after a long and muddy walk and were presented with probably the best cream tea that I have ever had! The scones were amazing. We had this in our room which was no problem for the waiter...
Staff were very friendly and efficient throughout from the check in and check out staff to the waiters and waitress that served us an amazing meal that evening. It was a shame that it was so quiet but that was probably because it was a Monday evening and at a funny time of year. It definitely didn't have anything to do with the restaurant or the hotel as they were both fantastic.

The hotel is charming and in the middle of the town which we liked. The owner was really friendly and everyone made us feel really welcome. We would stay here again if we went back to tetbury.

Very friendly owner/manager and staff. The price of the room was fair, but I would balk at paying the full price. However, breakfast was excellent value for money.
The dinner menu and food was very good, but as with so many pub/hotels with aspirations to bigger things, overpriced. Wine by the glass or bottle was the same price in the bar or dining room, and very expensive for what it was. Far too many pubs think they can charge restaurant prices for good quality pub food. If the Ormand had a chef, he/she was not in evidence while I was there, as all the kitchen staff appeared to be under 20. This is not a complaint. The food was good, and whoever cooked it competent.
