I stayed here as another booking fell through and booked 1 day before while in barcelona. The hotel was right beside Termini, easy to get to all sights on the tourist busses near by. Plenty of dinning houses near by. Room was clean, view was poor. had hot water and clean towels. Many bulbs were not working in the room or bathroom. Over all they were helpfull and spoke english. |

Breakfast is only served until 9.30 we only ate here once as we did not enjoy the food at all. The hotel is central to termini metro station the central underground station which is good it is only a 2 minute walk however the night we arrived we did not have a clue where the hotel was and found it hard to find. Our room was also tiny, the bathroom was like a closet. I just was not happy with the room or food at all. |

I would always recommend a visit to Rome, but I would not return to this hotel. However, I would stay in the same area as the location was great. A few negatives regarding the Champagne Palace include the hot water. At first we thought there was none, but after getting a member of staff to our room we soon realised the hot water takes a considerable while to warm up. We had to run all the taps (inc the bidet) for several minutes until it was warm enough for a shower. |
