Great value and great place for a group to stay. Easy access to the tram stop and cheap way of getting across the city. 6 of us a a great 4 days here. Not sure if I'd recommend for small children due the the absence of a banister on the stairs for the mezzanine beds. Gino was very friendly and helfull. Sorted out all our travel details for getting to and from the airport. Highly recommended overall. |

Be conscious when booking these apartments that there are two completely different locations. One block of apartments is set about 2 miles south of the vatican (the ones we thought? we booked) and the other block is set near the piazza di malatesta (search on google maps) about 7 - 8 kms east of the city centre. Although we didn't get the location we thought we booked, the public transport to the city centre was easy to get to and very regular, even on public holidays. There is a lovely pizzeria on the corner and a supermarket 2 minutes walk from the door to stock up the apartment. Another downside was that if you use three or more high heat appliances (hair dryer, heater, oven, water heater) the power simply cuts off. We had to ring the poor owner Gino on Easter Sunday to figure out how to get the power back on (there was an external fuse box outside the apartment underneath the communal stairs). Also, this location had no internet access. My wife loved the apartment, but having paid 95 euros a night with those problems, I don't think I would stay here again, despite how helpful Gino was. |

We stayed in one of the apartments in a suburb of Rome. The apartment was on the top floor with an outside terrace. The apartment was well equiped and had everything we needed. There are supermarkets nearby and a few small local restaurants. It took about 40 minutes to get into the centre of Rome (10 minute walk to tram stop and 30 tram journey). |

We stayed at the Malatesta apartment, and found it very convenient, and it has all amenities one would ever need close by. The apartment was very clean and comfortable. We had a great week there. |
