We loved the site, the room, the bed, the jacuzzi in our bath, the pool facilities and the food.
Most important - the staff were friendly and helpful.

Very pretty spot. Luxury room overlooking river was excellent and huge with relaxing spa bath. Leisure facilities good and very family friendly. We ate in restuarant where food was good and service likewise. The wine list is small but interesting and good value.
Great for a much needed overnight break and off the main thoroughfares of the bigger lake district towns.
Would go again.
