This hotel was absolutely amazing- the nicest i've ever stayed in. The staff couldn't have been nicer, the location was stunning, the food was wonderful. We're definitely going to go back as soon as we can. |

Faultless. A real castle (Henry VIII) with all the atmosphere and with none of the feeling of Disney or Kitsch, and no feeling of trying to extract every penny from you. Room seriously atmospheric without being primitive; fantastic location. Dinner expensive but not eye-watering. A wonderful place to stay. |

nice room. Liked to gas fire in the big fireplace. Little touches like radio playing classical music on entry and complimentary sherry in the room. Dinner & drinks very expensive (£50 for dinner, wine at least £30 a bottle Dec 2007), knew that before going. I liked the tudor feel to the place - furniture, windows, tapestries on the walls etc. |
