Great location, pretty country house hotel, friendly welcome and charming clean and well equipped room (ironing board, iron, toiletries and tea and coffee etc. plus the benefit of free broadband). We arrived late in the evening after a ferry ride from france so were unable to eat in the restaurant which was dissappointing as the menu looked delicious and very reasonably priced. One nice touch was when I rang the hotel to advise of our late arrival we were asked if we would like to pre-order some food (wish we had now). Will definitely return. |

Such a lovely building and a great antidote to run-if-the mill business hotels. The menu is terrific, if a little pricy, but I would choose this again and again when in the Plymouth area. The staff were terrific. |

The hotel was very old if the room was available again at £49 we would stay again but the room we had was not worth the £115.00 which is what the hotel quoted. |

The standard rooms are small but are just the trick for a one-night business stay. Room service procedures were a bit puzzling (no menu in the room and no telephone number for the restaurant) but after placing my order downstairs, I was impressed with the standard of the food. |
