Staff were very friendly and attentive. Breakfasts were very good, plenty of choice with excellent service. Had one evening meal off the a la carte menu which was excellent and good value. Lounge bar was lively and friendly. The only minor negative was the small size of the rooms in the Castle Cottages, but this doesn't detract from the overall value. |

Old fashioned and in need of a decor update. Staff hard working but their approach a bit mechanical. |
