For anyone looking for a room in the heart of Rome, AENEA s B&B is the perfect place, staying even only a couple of days provides the chance to discover the city and its marvelous monuments.
The apartment, which is on the 4th floor and has an elevator, has been completely renovated, and the owners speak Italian, English, French, Spanish, Portuguese and Arabic.
The comfortable rooms are all equipped with air conditioning, colour TV and bedlinen.
All rooms have a private en suite bathroom with a large shower, heated towel rail and hairdryers.
There is no charge for children under the age of four and a cot can be provided for babies. Please request this when booking.
The rooms are cleaned on a daily basis. A bright lounge is available for breakfast which is self service and guests are welcome to make coffee, hot chocolate, milk or tea whenever they wish so that they can rise at whatever time desired.
AENEA S B&B is in the historic centre of Rome and its ideal location enables visitors to tour the city without a car. In few minutes you can reach the Colosseum, Domus Aurea, Fori Imperiali, Piazza Venezia, Fontana di Trevi, Campidoglio. The Spanish Steps, the fashionable via dei Condotti, via Frattina, Piazza del Popolo, the most ancient churches, the major museums, the theatres and all the best the eternal city can offer are all close by.The building is a few steps away from Termini central station where the underground and bus lines link visitors with the streets, the squares and the best venues to experience roman nights. The air terminal from/to Fiumicino s Leonardo da Vinci airport is within walking distance. A few meters away from the apartment there is a coin laundry and an internet point.

Aenea was very friendly and helpful. The rooms was clean and adequate. I was traveling with my wife and teenage daughter - our first impression was that the street/area was very rough and possibly a little unsafe, the lift was small and slow and the building looked run down. In the end it was fine and value for money.

The bed was like a sponge and the location was not great. Right behind the train station which wasnt the safest place.

Clean, comfortable and convenient. My wife and I have visited Rome many times and would certainly recommend and stay at Aenea again ourselves. This is a gem in a city where accommodation is often expensive and poor value.

Well located for the Rome Termini (Train Station) and a short city break. Clean and well presented with a good host and sufficient continental breakfast to get the day started! Good coffee!

The hotel was very close to the termini and was ideal for catching the metro or buses, so getting around central Rome and further afield was very easy. We arranged with the hotel for taxi to pick us up from the airport and take us into the hotel, which meant we had no problem finding the hotel as some other people have. We were met by an extremely nice lady, who was there every day and spoke very good English, so we had not problem with communication. The room was large enough and was very clean and airy and also had air conditioning. The bed was extremely comfortable. The bathroom was spotless if a bit small, with a plentiful supply of hot water. The breakfast was adequate. It was self service with cakes, fruit juice, bread and coffee available. There was fruit on the day 1st morning but once that was gone it was not replaced so we bought in our own fruit in. The area around the hotel was a bit rough but at no time did we feel uncomfortable or threatened. We tried the restaurant nearby, recommended by the hotel, the food was dreadful and expensive. I would certainly recommend this hotel and would defiantly stay there again.
