Room not actually in hotel, but a flat next door used as an annex. It didn't meet the standards I would expect of a 3-star hotel, as this claims to be; partly lack of chair, desk, etc, mainly the lack of an ensuite bathroom. The bathroom was across the hallway, supposedly (but clearly not actually) for my private use. My complaint resulted in a small reducation in the rate charged, but it simply shouldn't have happened. What I was offered was not what I wanted nor what I had booked. |

I woke in the middle of the night to find a rat in my room. This was just one in a long list of problems with the hotel. |

Cheap and not very nice. Booked twin bed room put into a four bed room. Beds unmade and not changed, used towels, papers etc. Room was in a basement where both my wife and I had great difficulty finding an exit (there were fire exits). Moved to a double OK but not nice - 12" gap between bed and wall one side not much better other side. No matress covers etc. |

There was no cooked food available at breakfast apart from toast. The continental style breakfast available was of a very low standard and the quality of the food poor. |
