The Westbourne is historically the rather stylish detached residence of a Jackpot Pools Winner - today it has lost none of its magic and is quite literally alive with 'Fresh Thinking' and new ideas.
Graded by Visit Britain as 4 Star Guest Accommodation it is only a short level walk from the seafront, 8 individually designed en-suite bedrooms - including two generously sized Family Rooms/Suites. Large Outdoor Heated Swimming Pool (May-Sept), fantastic Sun Terrace with 3 individual Patio Heaters for nigh time comfort, Private Walled Car Park. All Rooms have Colour 30 channel digital TV's and DVD's with an extensive collection of FREE DVD Films for Hire, FREE Broad Band Wireless, Centrally Heated throughout and a 100% Non-Smoking Hotel.Free Daily Newspaper, fantastic and very generous home cooked breakfast - not a breakfast person, why not exchange it for a packed lunch. In fact Casual Dining is one of the Westbourne missions with late or early breakfasts available - you can even enjoy it poolside al-fresco if required. Directions to The Westbourne

Finding the Westbourne is Easy --Continue to the end of the M5, which then becomes the A38, after a short distance turn left to join the A380 to Torquay.After several miles you will reach a roundabout (Penn Inn), take the second exit sign posted Torquay.Proceed along this road for a couple of miles, untill you reach another roundabout, go straight across following the Torquay signs. Follow this road which has now become the A3022, go through several sets of lights untill you see a Halfords and Torrs train station on your right, here take the right hand fork into Avenue Road.The Westbourne is on the right hand side a couple of hunderd yards down this road. The walled Car Park is at the rear of the hotel.

Stayed 23/09/08 however had to leave at 3am to reach Penzance in time for flight to Scilly Isles. Very warm welcome, enjoyed swim in pool and warm and comfortable, quiet, private room. Hosts provided packed food in lieu of breakfast due to departure time despite suffering a family accident (Hope Dad is okay). Good look with your venture, you are the perfect hosts - many thanks for an enjoyable stay.

Internet was broken and the room didn't have a flatscreen TV as suggested but the owners were very friendly and helpful and the pool was pretty good
