A wonderful hotel, lovely staff and fantastic food. The room was very clean and well maintained, the only thing was the bed was uncomfortable, but we did manage to sleep! Would highly recommend and we will be back. |

A very warm welcome including a drink. Ambience was spot on - relaxed, friendly, comfortable, civilised with various magazines around to read. Food was excellent and locally sourced. We will use it again as an overnight stop on the way to the far north. |

This is a great litle country house hotel. Easy to find (well signposted) and a good central location from which to tour Central Scotland. Run by a courteous and friendly husband/wife team, the rooms are comfortable, the public areas inviting, the food and presentation lovely and the general ambience makes for a relaxing leisure break. |

Initially we were very pleased with our choice - lovely setting and the food was really good. Very disappointed in the cutsomer service. My husband had a freezing cold shower, the bed was exceptionally uncomfortable. when we pointed this out in a costructive customer fiendly way, we were thanked for pointing it out and they would call a plumber and made no reference to the bed which was almost 20 years old!!. This is the worst level of customer relations/service either of us has experienced and we are both in the cutsomer service industry ourselves. On that basis we would most certianly not return as they do not deserve our business if that is how they treat us and we dod not relish the prospect of a cold shower and rotten nights sleep.. |
