We ordered a twin room which was substantially different to any I have previously experienced. We are a couple and were booked in as such. they had the beds facing each other on opposite ends of the room. The one bed was turned in such a way that my husband had to lean on the wardrobe to watch TV. We would have presumed that being a couple they would have pushed the beds together as per all the other establishments we have stayed in. Especially as we had originally asked for a double room through late rooms. The couple that run the Guest lodge however made up for the inadequacy of the room. They were helpful and really very, very friendly. The breakfast was freshly cooked to order and more than adequate. |

The room was beautifully decorated and Linda, who was looking after the guest house for the owners was the perfect host, helping us with parking, tidying up a reservation issue and cooking an extra breakfast for a friend who met us at the b&b before we all journeyed on together. |
