Ballantrae Apartments

Apartment No. 1 doesn't have good reception for the Digibox and ordinary TV wasn't available, although the other apartments' reception was fine. Aside from that the accommodation offers excellent value for money and we'll definitely be staying again.

Very friendly and helpful staff, ordered taxis, ensured we were able to have breakfast earlier than usual time, etc. Apartments great size, comfortable and in good central location. Only there for one night but would definitely stay there again.

The quality of this apartment was outstanding.It is a former townhouse with one apartment on each of the three floors.This means the living-room and bedroom were huge with many original features. There was also a kitchen/diner with almost new fittings and appliances,bathroom and second toilet.The views from the rear over the Firth of Forth are spectacular.The breakfast was basic but adequate, and the off-street parking was a bonus.It is very central, 3-4 minutes walk from Princes Street.The only downside was the directions on the website which tell you to turn left at the lights on North Charlotte Street when in fact it is a right turn. The off- street parking is difficult to find at the moment because of temporary road works. Overall highly recommended

Stayed in apartment in lovely old building which had huge rooms, but furniture, etc very cheap quality. Bedroom at front of building was noisy all night with constant traffic due to location on main through road. Location very central but noise was price to pay.

Stayed in apartment, amazingly spacious! Had everything needed for a longer stay, but great to have so much space even on shorter visits.
Great location - 3 minutes walk to Princess St, 2 mins to Harvey Nicks. On site parking an added advantage.
