Wonderful stay. Enter from the car park and it is like another world. 5 star service - if anything a bit too quick in the restaurant. Room was nice good view of Chester but a bit small. Everything very luxurious esp the towels. Lots of marble and chandeliers. My husband used the spa and thought it great. Shame there is no garden there but it is right in the centre of things in Chester.

Second stay at this hotel; food still fantastic in newly named Simon Radley restaurant and conceige service best in the land. However was given room with views over the air conditioning system which was not exactly picturesque! Mistakes with bill and car parking and staff forgetting to put bags in car from room delayed exit by about 30 minutes which left a sour note. Also breakfast not quite hitting the fantastic standards as in previous stay. Very close to shops and attractions for visitors. Air con and very comfortable beds. Moulton Brown products in rooms.
