What a delightful experience! The hotel was hard to find from the instructions as they gave no sense of distance, but this is my only criticism! Once I arrived, the staff were fantastic, room was lovely and food was excellent. I had a dinner, bed and breakfast deal, which was really good. The hotel was quiet and somewhat old fashioned (in a nice way) One of the best experiences I have had in hotels in the UK. Ideal place for a nice rest and some good food - both dinner and breakfast were excellent - I can highly recommend the smoked salmon and soft scrambled eggs, made freshly to order. Will definitely return. |

Very nice hotel with really great interiors and excellent food. Room 1 right above the Bar was suffering from noise from people enjoying themselves at the Bar. Room 2 was suffering from noise of people talking and phoning in the hallway at night. |

This was a really beautiful hotel; however, as a single woman it was a little daunting to arrive when dark and have to drive through a farily long and wooded dirt track road to reach the hotel (it was clearly signposted however) |

Great hotel. Superb value, great room and food was fabulous. Only criticism was that the tea and coffee in the roon should be more country hotel than travel lodge. |
