1. don't know about family friendly as I was a "single " stayer

An old fashioned type of hotel- but that is meant as a compliment.

The hotel room and bathroom were nice and clean. Unfortunately there was a wedding on the same evening mysellf and my wife were staying so I have to say the customer service for other guest was less than satisfactory. We waited far too long in the dining room for dinner and the bar wasn't even manned. They were obviously more interested in the wedding party than their other paying guests.
