Located just 5 miles out of Middlesbrough on the side of the North York Moors this hotel appeals to both the business client visiting Middlesbrough wanting a comfortable hotel with a relaxing restaurant, pub serving good food and ample parking with just a 10 minute drive into work in the morning AND to the leisure client who is looking to visit Captain Cook counrty and the North York Moors, which look down on the Hotel. Not far away to visit are York, Pickering, Helmsley and all the locations connected to Captain Cooks early years.
The Endeavours Restaurant has a peaceful relaxing atmosphere which allows you to enjoy award winning food to the full. The lounge bar serves from a wide ranging menu with the emphasis on quality fresh local produce. Blackboards feature all of the days specials and will guarantee that you will be spoilt for choice!
All 24 of the hotel’s bedrooms were refurbished in the last couple of years and offer high quality, comfortable surroundings. There are tea and coffee making facilities, televisions with complimentary satellite channels and all rooms are fully en-suite. Executive rooms offer a complimentary drink in the room, complimentary newspapers and trouser press, as well as individual fruit baskets. All rooms have computer modem link to high speed broadband too. Please note all bedrooms are non-smoking.

The Staff at the Wainstones were very friendly and proffessional. I had a very quick check in with no fuss or unnecessary information. The room was spacious and clean with good bathroom, plenty of parking and easy to find, Breakfast was also excellant. The staff even offered me de-icer for the car in the morning. Really good service all round.
I would definatly stay again when in the area.

Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff, warm and comfortable room, all facilities well laid out and good additional information available. Great locally sourced (and tasty) breakfast.
