The Bull is a beautiful hotel and its reception and bar rooms with its heavily beamed ceilings are fantastic and make you feel like stepping back in time. The fireplaces are massive and definitely give the hotel a cosy atmosphere. On arrival we were made to feel very welcome, Theresa the Receptionist gave us a very detailed brief of the hotel. The room we stayed in was warmly decorated and very clean. The staff and service we received was outstanding. The food in the restaurant was great and the menue contained a nice variety of foods. All in all we had a fanstatic stay at the Bull Hotel and we will defintitely be returning. If you are looking for a romantic stay away The Bull Hotel is the one to visit. It will meet all your requirements with ease. I shall definitely be returning in the near future for some more pampering. |

A warm and characterful hotel in the heart of an interesting Suffolk village. The 15th century building is full of interest and the room was very comfortable. Fantastic fire in the lounge next to the bar. The clientele is elderly- we were the youngest people there despite being in our early 40s. |

what a super place this is, beautiful hotel, lovely friendly staff that can't do enough for you, and fabulous food. The only reason I have marked room down a little is that it was pretty warm, and no air con, but they did have a pedestel fan we could have used. Hairdryer and ironing board in room. Bar food good as was restaurant with wide ranging menu. Radio 2 on in the backgrund so prob aimed at the middle aged customer that loves history and atmosphere. Lots of eateries in village if you chose to eat out includong Austrian, Italain and 2 indians. easy to park both back and front of hotel. I booked cheap deal but they still managed to move us to twin room as I wished, Spotless room and lovely bathroom. Loads of original oak beams in lounge, bar and restaurant. We will be going back again and again, can't wait! |
