This is a very well managed and spotlessly clean hotel. Parking is in a public car park a few minutes walk away - we've never had a problem. The dining room is lovely however, it may be closed during quiet times. There is a bar which serves good food and in the past we have had our meal delivered to the room (when I had a cold)! The menu is on the good/very good side of OK and we've enjoyed a couple of really excellent meals in the main dining room where the covers are quite close together for the 2 seater tables. In the past, when the hotel has been busy, it has a great atmosphere, excellent decoration and the staff are really friendly and care about their guests. |

Despite the hotel and its brasserie being dominated by a SAGA trip, my partner and I had a fantastic time staying here. We were made to feel very welcome and the staff were chatting and helpful. The dinner in the brasserie, although a tad later than booked, was delicious. |
