Overall enjoyed the stay, plus points were the location, furnishings, shower. Minus points: building work outside of which no warning was given of, small old TV. |

The hotel was nice and clean, the staff were freindly and had a friendly atmosphere. The only bit we didn't like very much was that the hotel is in an in side alley. It looks pretty safe, however it becomes very lonely wlaking to tit at nights. There was also some amount of construction work going on around the hotel (we went in May 2008). Hopefully once the construction work finishes the alleys will become pleasant to walk along. |

We booked this hotel after our planned hotel was full apparently. We had the suite which is nextdoor tot he hotel, and is described as the 2+2 room on the booking form. The suite had obviously been recently redecorated and consisted of a bedroom, hallway, lounge/diner with pull out bed for 2 more people, bathroom and toilet - all arranged in a sort of s-shape throughout the ground floor of the building. Prices for hotels in Venice are relatively expensive, and breakfast here is the simple continental fare. The customer service was excellent allowing us to arrive before the scheduled time (no notice given), and also arranging for us to leave our cases on the day we cheked out, even providing a phone number in case he wasn't there when we arrived to retrieve the cases (but in fact he was). Nice quiet location in the Dorsurduro near the Peggy Gugenheim museum - go to Bottegnon's for some lunch, sit on the wall outside with a glass of wine and watch the world go by .... |

Great location! Lovely hotel and great service. Would definitely recommend if you're looking for somewhere cosy and easy but not necessarily all mod cons. It went perfectly with the image of Venice that I had and was definitely the place for us to stay for a lovely weekend away... |
