I thought the hotel was in a lovely setting but I was disappointed in the room. It was clean but very basic and a bit small. The breakfast wasn't great but we had a lovely evening meal. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

I found that the staff were very helpful and excellent all round. The hotel we found was superb and for the price it was even better than excellent. We would say that this is a Hotel that you should stay at if you are visiting Leeds.

The hotel was excellent EXCEPT for the bed which was painfully hard. A foam topper which is minimal cost would solve the problem and make for a good comfortable night's sleep. We had a very uncomfortable night as the bed was so hard.
We were in Spain recently on a bed which was just as hard but the topper made the bed one of the most comfortable we had ever slept on.
We really enjoyed the leisure facilities and everything else was superb but the bed would mean we might be reluctant to stay again.

The hotel looked very nice from the car park & reception. My room had a strange smell, but it was late & I was too tired to ask to change, it might be because it looked straight out onto an open bin full of rubbish as I discovered in the morning.
I made a coffee in the morning only to find the milk was off and all 6 little cartons were 3 months out of date. No remote control for the TV.

I have been staying at this hotel on and off for nearly 15 years and the service and facilities have remained excellent throughout that time. The food on my latest stay was superb.
