The Hotel was clean and comfortable it was easy to find as we had a sat nav. We decided to eat at the hotel the first night as it took us five hours to get there and did not really know the area. Not a wise choice, we had our starter started on the main course then left the resturant. Would recommend the hotel to use as a base but would definatly not recommend the food. |

Distinctly unimpressive. The "leisure club" appears to consist of a pool table and a weights bench. If there was any more I couldn't find it. Waiting staff were nice but nervous and leaderless, food was unremarkable. Decor was seriously dated, room cramped and the hall light flooded beneath my room door, so I had to block it out with a towel. Room phone had a flashing, bright red light, so I unplugged it. Would only stay here again if I had to. |

Large and fairly impersonal commercial hotel. Room was very well presented with good facilities and decent shower. Bar food dis-appointing with no a-la carte menu. Ate out locally. Parking limited. Overall fair value. would possibly stay again but plenty of choice in the area. |
