The Directors of the Glynhill Hotel are committed to providing 4 star standards of comfort and service at 3 star prices. The hotel has received over £3 million investment in the past 4 years.
The hotel has recently completed its bedroom refurbishment programme and can now boast 145 rooms of the modern, contemporary style. A new guest lift has been installed to service the 3 floors of bedrooms and the Gourmet restaurant and cocktail bar have been redesigned to offer guests an additional Bistro restaurant experience.
The newly created landscaped garden with state of the art water feature has now been completed to bring a beautiful enhanced outlook to the Barony banqueting suite.

Bathroom looked a bit worn, sound insulation very poor between rooms. Breakfast setup excellent.

this place was a bit strange - didn't know whether it was a butlins-style family camp or a country house hotel or a function facility or a middle of the road suburban hotel. confused and very average on all counts

Would defy anyone to find a better breakfast anywhere and it makes a very pleasant change to have 'local' staff. Cannot recommend this hotel higjly enough.

Hotel staff were very helpful and polite even when sorting the small mix up with our bill. Our room was very small however it was very clean and all we needed for 1 nights stay. Our bar snack was excellent and we would definately stay again, but might be worth asking if a bigger room was available next time. Only critisism would be that there was no mirror near the hairdryer or no plug near the mirror to dry hair, however the staff were very helpful and quickly provided me with a shaving mirror for my room when requested at reception.

At reception two members of staff were behind the counter, they never looked up when I arrived and I felt completely ignored for what seemed to be 5 minutes before one of them looked up and said "name".
The room felt dirty I was in room 200 and the heating was poor. The room was noisy due to the neighbours talking and the door shook in its frame when other doors in the building were closed.
When I checked out a different member of staff, to who checked me in, was equally as ignorant as after I had paid by credit card, he put it on the counter like it was a piece of filth rather than hand it back to me.

Basically I wasnt happy with the attitude of all the staff I encountered.
