The best located tourist hotel in Bath (we believe!)Located in the oldest part of the city it has the Roman Baths, Pulteney Bridge, Bath Abbey, The Thermae Spa, Sally Lunns, Bath Rugby, Parade Gardens, great restaurants and the diverse shopping that Bath has to offer all on its doorstep.Guided tours exploring the rest of Bath, including the Royal Crescent, The Circus and Assembly Rooms leave from outside the hotel every 10 minutes.The train and coach station are close by and with local public parking located by the Police Station it is the ideal place to explore all that Bath has to offer.Bath Leisure Centre with swimming pool, gym and all manner of leisure facilities is a two minute walk away.Built as part of the Grand Design in the 1740's the hotel has the modern convenience you would expect from a friendly 3 star hotel in a classic Georgian Building. one female receptionist was rude and abrupt which was a shame as every other member of staff was delightful. will definately go there again.

Expensive for the quality of the room, needs to be redecorated and upgraded for a city centre hotel. Poor security in bagage store. Location could mean that this hotel could be very good indeed, just needs to go from a 1 star to 5 star!

We thought this hotel had a fantastic location and was very good value for money. It helped that we had read the reviews of other people beforehand and therefore requested a room at the back of the hotel..which meant it was a lot quieter. Think this is a must if you want a reasonable nights sleep! The breakfast in the morning was excellent and the staff were very helpful. We would definately book this hotel again.

Bath is over-priced for hotels, so this was a good deal for a hotel in the city centre. That said, it is very basic: small room; basic bathroom; view of another room; 4/5 channels on the TV; and you can hear every door close, which isn't handy at 8am on a Sunday morning.

The location is probably the best in Bath. We booked the day before thru Late Rooms and got a bit of a bargain. Check in took all of 2 mins and check out the next morning was the same.
