We were delighted with our stay. We arrived late owing to a delay at home and the restaurant was kept open for us by a really friendly and obliging Manager who seemed very keen to make our stay comfortable although it was a brief one. We had booked for Room Only in a Standard en suite but received an upgrade because there was space. The room we were shown to was truely lovely and immaculate with great views over the forest. We looked at the one reserved and that was smaller but good too though on the second floor. Our dinner was excellent and we highly recommend the Welsh Salt Marsh Lamb that's served. The soup was to die for! Unusual to get such a warm welcome and the high standard was much appreciated. Thank you Plas Dolmelynllyn and Late Rooms. |

Four poster room was lovely, though the hot water was in short supply, and could perhaps do with a bit of modernisation, or lick of paint. Food was good qulity. |
