The hotel is easy to find on the main road to Kyle. The staff were pleasant and helpful, and the bar meal was excellent. Although I didn't eat in the restaurant, it looked very inviting. The room was comfortable, although the lack of water pressure in the shower, the poor choice of tv channels, and the lack of an internet connection would have made a longer (business) stay a bit more challenging. |

Nice friendly hotel with great views from the public rooms (and presumably some of the bedrooms, although I had a side room). |

This hotel promises much but fails to deliver. It is in a fine lochside location short of the Skye Bridge and has some rooms (not ours) with patio/decking looking onto the loch. Our room (19) was in the rear extension to the main building. Room 19 was directly above a bar cooler which switched in at 4.30am on our second morning, keeping us awake with a very loud continous noise which was still going when we checked out at 9.30am. We complained about the noise and were offered a £20 discount, but no apology! I can't believe we were the only people to complain and that the problem was not well known to the owner. This aside, the hotel is nicely appointed and the staff, although seemingly inexperienced and untrained, were all very friendly and helpful. Overall, even at a Late Rooms discounted price, this hotel was overpriced for the quality offered, and yet with a bit of care and attention to customer servicve it could be so much better. |

Yes I would stay here as it's very convenient. Again a room with a view would have been appreciated , but there was a wedding thing on , so I guess the best rooms had gone. Stunning location , shame about the road though. Very handy for a stop over before The Hebrides. Clean, tidy, comfortable, pleaseant. |
