hotel was used as a base for a sunday in london with the children. 2 complaints. they take £50.00 deposit from your credit card which is not deducted from the bill. so for a £68.00 room they wanted to take £118.00 ?? i refused and was only charged £68.00 very strange. also you have to pay £7.00 to park your car in the hotel car park. very strange in the morning the car was covered in bird mess that cost £25.00 TO HAVE REMOVED ??.the hotel was child freindly but would not use again to be honest. |

The hotel room and bathroom were clean and a good for a base for a few nights. The beds were comfortable. The road outside was noisy but that's probably what you would expect for the area. The breakfast area would benefit from being bigger, as at peak time it was very busy and not enough seating - we went back to the room and waited for half hour and then tried again when it was quieter. We stayed here because we were attending a concert at the O2, the hotel was less than a 10 min walk to the station and only 3 stops on the train, so was very convenient. |

Very noisy hotel - even with double glazing the traffic noise was enough to prevent sleep. Also the room was cold, but the only way to 'heat' it was the very noisy air conditioning, which also switchjed itself back on wikth a bang every tiem ti felt the temperature dropping again. These two things combined to give just about the worst night's sleep this month. I'd stay there again if I had to but never in 201 or any room fronting the busy road. |

Phoned hotel in advance to see if we could check in early as we were going to a wedding that afternoon, reception said this should be ok but couldn't guarantee it which was fair enough. When we arrived room was not ready, waited until 1pm, 1hr before official check in time and room still wasn't ready so we left our bags at reception and were told they would be in our room on return. When we arrived back at the hotel after the wedding our bags were not in our room and neither was the cot that we asked for, the air conditioning controls were also broken as was the kettle and the TV remote!!! Breakfast was ok but don't expect much choice. I suggest you consider other options before staying at this hotel especially if you have a family........... |
