Family room was clean and tidy. The beds were very comfortable . The constant noise from cleaning outside and lorries delivering made it very difficult for us to sleep until around midnight and woken again at 5am for the same reason |

Hotel was perfect for what we needed. A group of 4 of us booked in last minute in order to watch the Open championship practise day at Birkdale the following day. Room was clean, breakfast hearty and staff very friendly. The only down side for us was that the Car park is small and is allocated on a first come first served basis. We had to park on the street which is free after 5pm until 9am but had already been issed with a parking fine by 09:10 after checking out!! Be warned |

First impressions weren't great as you went past the blue rinse brigade in the foyer to check in upstairs, however the room was clean, convenient and well-priced and it was ideal for our purposes as an overnight resting place. |
