My wife and I arrived at the Hotel at 2.15pm on a very wet and windy day. We asked about a bar lunch and were told - not after 2pm. We then asked about a sandwich and coffee and were again told not after 2pm and that we should try somewhere else in town.
Considering that the hotel was busy with Christmas lunch parties, I don't think even a turkey sandwich should have been too much of a problem. We were left with no option but to brave the weather in search of something to eat.
The check out time is quite clearly stated as 11am, but the housekeeper was knocking on the room door at 8.30 for access. (We are not impressed)

A problem with the hot water system resulted in me having no hot water for shower after a 6 hour drive there and 6 hours home again the next morning not nice everything else was very good. i was told to write and complain.

First the noise for under & Outside my room was High
I asked for a non Smoking room only to be put above a smoking area
No Hot Water Reception said run it for 10 minutes Not What you want to here from the Night Porter Bad Attitude

The first room I was allocated was not ready even though I arrived at 21.00. The second room was well past its sell by date. Not very clean, mould around the bath. Breakfast swimming in grease.
