Lansdowne Place, Boutique Hotel & Spa, is a beautiful blend of period features mixed with with contemporary decor. All 84 bedrooms and suites are sunny, bright and spacious - equipped with plasma televisions with satelitte TV, broadband Internet access, complimentary bathroom amenities, hairdryer, direct dial telephones with voicemail services, laptop safe, complimentary tea and coffee facility and 24-hour room service. The beds - with their 100% Egyptian cotton bed linen, are amongst the most luxurious and comfortable you can find. The hotel's destination restaurant the Grill restaurant feat. classical French cuisine created by award winning Head Chef. Choose from wide range of classic dishes, characterised by their use of fresh, seasonal and local organic ingredients. 2 course dinner £ 19.95 per person, 3 course dinner £24.95, Sunday lunch £18.50. The Peacock lounge- bar, featuring Brighton's longest sofas mixed with leopard print bar-stools. It is open throughout the day for coffee, light lunches, afternoon tea and evening cocktails. The rooms was disgusting. There was mould on the walls, the paint was peeling through damp, the bathroom door wouldn;t shut. There were also tiles falling off the walls. A dirty towel didn;t help either, or the poor finish to the rest of the bathroom.

We were really disappointed with our room. It was small, had a disgusting view and for a four star hotel was very poor.

Very disappointing room for a four star. It was so small, directly besides the elevator (it felt like it was going through your room); the windows opened onto a roof top which was filthy and horrid; windows havent been cleaned in a century and the paint came off the wall.

The hotel isn't set up ideally for business customers, the main issue being the £11.80 daily charge to use the internet. Free WIFI is essential in the foyer at least. I
