Pension George has become renowned world-wide for its friendly , hospitable service and is recommended in all of the main tourist guides.
The Pension is located in the middle of the island of Santorini - within 15 minutes walking distance of the busy capital town of Fira, in the traditional village of Karterados, where all amenities are close-by, but there is a calm, relaxed atmosphere.
The swimming pool is surrounded by a pretty garden and is the ideal place to relax and soak up the sun and breakfast is served in the patio, or in the small breakfast room.
At reception, guests can obtain tickets for all of the boat trips to the volcano, hot springs and the small traditional island of Thirassia, as well as guided bus tours of Santorini and assistance with car or scooter rental
There are also 5 brand new self-contained apartments available for rent.Traditionally built amid vineyards and groves and only 100 metres from Karterados beach, these apartments are especially suitable for couples who prefer a quiet, rural location. It is preferable for these guests to rent a car or scooter due to the location, but there are tavernas within walking distance..We can arrange this for you when you reserve. They are very very pleasant. And the situation in Santorini is excellent to go anywhere.
