A lovely hotel built in local sandstone, lots of character original rooms in main building have leaded windows, and classic decor, and are comfortable, although can be on the cool side in winter.New annex rooms are more up to date but still charming.Very nice restaurant and bar.

great place to stay warm and welcoming room really good thought the food was vastly over priced as were the drinks . breakfast was awesome

The travelodge down the road was going to be 60 quid and then more on top for parking!! Chose this hotel as it offers a lovely big room for a family of four, a jacuzzi bath and a great big fat breakfast for 100 quid. Can't go wrong in this place.
