The recently refurbished Cutlers Hotel is ideally located in the heart of Sheffield and within easy reach of the M1, J33. The train station, which is only 2 stops away on the tram, provides easy access to the hotel. The Crucible and Lyceum (award winning theatres) are two minutes walk away as is Ponds Forge International Sports Centre (discounted passes available). Car-parking is located opposite the hotel and offers reduced rates for guests. By Car:Leave the M1 at Junction 33. At Park Square follow signs to City Centre and Theatres. Drive up Commercial Street, and fork left at the top into Arundel Gate. Take the right hand lane and turn sharp right into Norfolk Street at the lights, and take the 2nd on the right into George Street. Cutlers Hotel is 50 metres up George street on the left. By Rail: Sheffield Midland Station-cross the road-up Howard Street-turn right into Arundal Gate-turn left after the Crucible Theatre into Norfolk Street-second right into George Street.

Excellent stay and situation in the centre - but in a quiet little street - just around the corner from the Lyceum and Crucible Theatres which is why we were in Sheffield. Excellent breakfast - we didn't eat in the hotel Bistro or restaurant as there's a great Chinese Buffet just along on the street corner.

Lovely hotel. It is right in the city centre, so is rather noisy, but is otherwise excellent.

the hotel was very comfortable and receptionist was very friendly. the room was lovely , the food good and the barman/waiter was really nice and helpful. the only downside was the description of the carpark being opposite. it is under the cut through at the side of the theatre, a good 10 minutes to organise parking, and carry heavy bags, and the way was not signed in any way ,leading to confusion and irritation. it would be clearer to say park briefly on Norfolk road and carry bags in and then get instructions to the car park.
