Ideally located for events at Donington Park and Park & Fly for East Midlands Airport, this boutique hotel is centrally situated in the village of Castle Donington less than 2 miles from the M1, A50 and A42. The Donington Manor Hotel is one of only four hotels in the The Finesse Collection, an exclusive selection of stylish hotels uniquely designed for style, comfort and service.
Originally a built as a coaching house in the 18th Century, the Donington Manor Hotel is a landmark building within the village of Castle Donington. Contemporary styling in truly classic surroundings, the hotel has 33 individually appointed guest bedrooms, an AA Rosette award winning Restaurant, Lounge Bar and an excellent selection of Conference and Function rooms ideal for Weddings and small meetings. The Donington Manor Hotel may date from the 18th century but behind the impressive frontage to the building we have a very chic and modern attitude towards comfort, relaxation and personalised service.
All of the 33 Guest bedrooms are completely unique within the hotel, ranging from the cute and cosy to the sleek and contemporary and even the gloriously grand and antique. All rooms come with complimentary WiFi access, flat screen televisions, tea and coffee making facilities and free car parking. The hotel boasts a collection of individually styled Suites and Superior Rooms that are truly ideal for any special occasion, most of which enjoy unrestricted garden views, four poster beds or historic features within the original building.
Our AA Rosette winning ‘Sage’ restaurant is renowned for its setting, service and selection of fine foods. The Head Chef, Jeff Cadden, is a master of all things unpretentious, wholesome and home cooked and enjoys utilising local produce from the counties of Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Nottinghamshire. He is also a firm believer in value for money, so you can enjoy lunch or dinner in superb surroundings for a competitive price.
The Lounge Bar is open all day serving a selection of coffees, light meals and a wide variety of wines and beverages. An ideal informal meeting place by day and the social hub of the hotel by night, the Lounge Bar has been stylishly refurbished, blending classic features with squashy sofas and funky tub chairs. The perfect place to meet, eat or relax with friends and colleagues.
For functions and conferences, Castle Donington is perfectly situated right in the centre of the country and less than a 5 minute drive from the M1, A50, A42 and Nottingham East Midlands Airport.
