The staff were very friendly and the food was really excellent and not expensive. The adjacent golf course and the extensive grounds made for a very pleasant stay. Rooms and public areas a bit tired but clean enough and room large and comfortable.

Great location terrific views, staff really nice, friendly and helpful, food very good, Manager here is absolutely lovely very friendly.sadly bedroom No 9 (single) very small, so I did not feel comfortable in it at all, would suggest to single traveller to book Double room for sole occupancy. The entire hotel was a wee bit tired but I believe it is about to undergo a complete refurb and once thats done this will be a fantastic hotel to stay in. I'll definitely go back, and despite my adverse comment I will recommend to colleagues and friends. Great also if your a golfer as right next to Golf course

Nice size room, big bed and comfortable, only downfalls were a slightly faulty shower head (but they can't fix it if no one reports it) and the fire alarm going off due to steam from a shower in another guest room. Would definately stay there again, nice place with a golf course one side and large open park on the other.
