TRH Paraiso

What a nice hotel. The grounds are lovely, the hotel looks good, the breakfast was the best I have had in Spain with full english included. The hotel was carpeted and we had the quietest nights sleep we have experienced in a hotel. The gym equipment needs an upgrade. The hotel is a complete nightmare to find and needs a better searchable address as my satnav couldn't find it, but once found it is easy to find again.

As reviewed by others, this hotel is great. It's slightly out of date, but its in a secluded location on a hill top and you don't get any noise at all from anywhere. The pool is great, the breakfast is amazing. The view from the front hotel rooms lets you see morrocco and gibralatar, marbella etc., its just amazing. just do remember to request a front facing room. All the rooms have a balcony and the staff very helpful...£68 for all this, a bargain. It's only a 10 min drive from the best beach in the whole area.

The food wasn't as good as we are used to in Spain, it was all a bit cheap and nasty. The breakfast room had a 'canteen' like atmosphere, very crowded and food choices were basic.
On the plus side, the hotel was very clean and the pool and garden area were lovely.

Been a regular visitor to the El Paraiso for 25-years now, so that must say something about this place!. It sits atop a hill midway between Puerto Banus & Estepona (5-minutes frpm San Pedro), with fabulous seaviews and Gibraltar & Morocco are visible on the horizon. Nice peaceful atmosphere, classy bar ('La Rotonda') on the top floor, lovely outdoor pool and gardens. We got a great deal thru Laterooms, paying just £44 per night for B&B. They are gradually upgrading the property so get in quick whilst the prices are good! The hotel is approx 1-mile from the main highway up a steep hill so carhire is essential. Nearby (2-mins) is a great restaurant called 'La Alcaria de Ramos' - one of the best we have visited, with fabulous food and service. Well worth a visit.
