Best Western Mount Sorrel Hotel

I liked the hotel, I liked the staff- they would do anything for you, and will definitely recommend this Hotel to anyone.

Would not hesitate to recommend this hotel. Excellant value for money ,clean, smart, goood breakfast,friendly staff will go back.

Thankfully only an overnight stay in this drab Welsh town that must have seen better days. Hotel was OK and friendly staff but the room was in need of decoration and the outlook over the back of the hotel was very uninspiring !

I cannot begin to say how much we enjoyed our short stay, Your staff are wonderful. Ilm ost my cigaretts, and must admit was anxious to leave to get some, The receptionist, as I was chatting to my grand daughter just handed me one of hers, and said ,go out side and have one now. Beyond the call of duty??

We stayed wed/thurs/fri nights. On the afternoon of arrival we were informed that the restaurant would not be availble until 9-00pm because of a pre-booked funcion. This was far too late for us so we had to eat out. On the friday a wedding was taking place and the hotel was overrun by wedding guests. At 5-00pm we could not get into the car park. At 6-00pm we could not get near the bar because of the wedding guests. Again we decided to eat out. When we returned at 10-00pm the disco was in full swing and the music reverberated throughout the whole hotel until midnight. By then it was too late to have a relaxing nightcap before going to bed. It seemed to us that priority was given to functions over the comfort of guests. All in all, avery disappointing experience.
